Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Student

The Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Student - School Nursing Opportunity is a full-time position that offers a unique chance to develop your skills and knowledge in community health nursing. As a student nurse, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care to children and families in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme: From 5-19 years old, working in partnership with local service providers to develop and support services to children and families within schools and the local community.
- Conduct health assessments for children and young people, including those with complex needs, and provide guidance and support to parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with local children's agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care and support for children and families.

Person Specification- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
- Postgraduate diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
- Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
