About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Public Health School Nurse to join our team in Merton. As a key member of our School Nursing Service, you will play a vital role in delivering core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school-aged children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating health promotion initiatives in line with local and national health improvement targets
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency working
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing programmes of care and writing care plans
  • Providing practice-based learning support to others
  • Supervising students and ensuring evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife (current)
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse School Nursing /working towards SCPHN qualification
  • Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training
