Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to support their department on a temporary basis. This role will be Monday to Friday, typically 9 hours per day.

The assignment offers a competitive salary of £11 per hour and has the potential for extension. Initially, this will be a fully onsite position for at least 6 weeks, with the possibility of hybrid working in the future, where it would involve three days on site and two days working from home.

This role requires strong financial data input skills, bank reconciliation knowledge, and excellent communication skills to handle general correspondence via letter, email, text, and telephone. Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and some Excel, is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have prior financial experience and a good understanding of administrative procedures.

Please note that this role will require a DBS check and three years' worth of references.
