Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at North Yorkshire Council. As a key member of our building design consultancy, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide building surveying services, including building pathology, design, and contract administration.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver complex projects.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys as required.
  • Produce and submit planning, building regulation, and listed building applications.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, specifications, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree and significant post-degree experience.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in NBS software and other documentation tools.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel when required.
