Job Title: Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the UK Head of Procurement, managing direct procurement spend for Volution Group plc brands, and leading cross-functional and site sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the UK Head of Procurement in managing direct procurement spend for Volution Group plc brands.
  • Lead cross-functional and site sourcing initiatives to ensure key stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Project manage multi-site, multi-discipline cost initiatives, tracking and reporting them monthly.
  • Analyze industry and demand trends to support management in developing and implementing sourcing procurement strategies.
  • Monitor and measure supplier performance, and resolve issues and concerns using the Procurement generated Balanced Scorecard approach.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies and purchasing systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Approachable and flexible, able to adjust to all situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, ensuring appropriate admin is taken care of in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Southern UK sites on a regular basis.
