Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Optimization
Job Summary:
Volution Ventilation UK is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing support to the UK Head of Procurement and ensuring the effective management of direct procurement spend for VVUK based brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the UK Head of Procurement in the management of direct procurement spend for VVUK based brands.
- Lead cross-functional and site sourcing initiatives to ensure key stakeholder requirements are accounted for.
- Project manage multi-site, multi-discipline cost initiatives to completion, tracking and reporting them monthly.
- Develop and implement sourcing procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Monitor and measure supplier performance, and resolve issues and concerns.
- Analyze industry and demand trends to support management in the development and implementation of sourcing procurement strategies.
- Manage and track procurement platforms to mitigate commercial impact to the business and optimize the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Sound working knowledge of purchasing systems, processes, and technologies.
- Approachable and flexible, able to adjust to all situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ensuring appropriate admin is taken care of in a timely manner.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Southern UK sites on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Procurement experience from the Ventilation/HVAC industry.
- Experience of procurement process implementation.
- Experience of e-Procurement tools.
