Job Title: Activities Development Officer

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Activities Development Officer to join our team at Barchester Healthcare.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents.

With a focus on creativity and innovation, you will work closely with our care teams to design and implement activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a positive impact on the lives of others, with a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents
  • To work closely with our care teams to design and implement activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • To ensure all activities are safe, inclusive and respectful

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with older adults in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
