We are seeking an experienced and innovative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and delivering activities that promote the wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of older adults. You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and residents, and have a creative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that all activities are tailored to meet the needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external partners to ensure that our services meet their needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including free training and development opportunities, access to wellbeing and support tools, and a retail discounts scheme.
