We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children's residential service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
About the Role:
As a Residential Care Manager for Children, you will be accountable for:
- Delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Leading a team of staff to provide therapeutic care and support, focusing on obtaining the best outcomes for each individual child.
- Mentoring and developing staff, organizing work patterns, and facilitating care-focused training.
- Protecting, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
- Managing budgets and financial resources to ensure the effective delivery of care services.
- Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background working with children in a similar setting.
- Achieved or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young People management qualification).
- A strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of budgets and financial management.
- A full driving licence is essential.
