Job Title: Band 6 Safeguarding Children Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team at Atlantis Medical. In this vital role, you will provide expert mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and care planning for patients within acute hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health assessments and care planning for patients in acute hospital settings.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective mental health care.
  • Demonstrate progressive skills in leadership, supervision, clinical practice, service development, risk assessment, and care management.
  • Use clinical judgment and risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Safeguard individuals by recognizing and responding to potential risks of abuse.
  • Reflect on daily practice to identify areas for improvement in safety or quality.
  • Stay compliant with mandatory training requirements.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience.
  • Effective risk assessment and risk management experience.
  • Knowledge of counseling skills, cognitive behavioral skills, psychosocial interventions, and brief solution-focused therapy.
