Safeguarding Children Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding Children Nurse Specialist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust Royal London Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in meeting requirements set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children
- Provide safeguarding children advice and support, safeguarding children supervision and training to practitioners
- Improve and facilitate robust communication pathways between hospital staff and professionals across the safeguarding partnership in the community, primary care and other agencies
- Work with the Named Nurse for safeguarding children to undertake audits and support the development and implementation of relevant policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding children

Requirements- Registered Nurse/Registered Sick Children's Nurse//SCPHN (Health Visiting) or equivalent
- Evidence of involvement in child protection practice
- Evidence of inter-agency/multiprofessional working
- Experience of being involved in clinical audit and evaluation
- Evidence of facilitating and supporting change in practice
- Experience of receiving safeguarding children supervision
- Experience of providing safeguarding children supervision
