Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a primary student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the student with ASD, promoting their academic and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with the student's teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist the student with daily living skills, such as organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
  • Support the student in developing social skills, including communication, empathy, and relationships.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with ASD or other special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs or a related field.
