Role Overview

A highly reputable independent Academy in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join their team on an immediate basis. This role involves implementing behaviour policies throughout the school and requires strong pastoral care elements.

The ideal candidate will work with students aged 11-16, providing monitoring, recording, and reviewing progress as well as sharing information with relevant staff and parents/carers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance and support to specific students and their families.
  • Liaising with Grange staff and external agencies to enhance academic and personal progress.
  • Developing and delivering intervention programs to small cohorts of students.
  • Supporting inclusive ethos and extra-curricular activities.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £90.11 to £120.48 per hour.

About the Role

This Behavioural Support Specialist role requires a relevant qualification and at least three months' experience within the last two years. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
