Cover Supervisor Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Dover. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the education sector and make a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning, helping them to complete work and achieve their full potential.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to report on student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for working with young people and a flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
