Job Overview

In this esteemed role as Paediatric Occupational Therapy Clinical Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in leading a team of highly skilled professionals, providing clinical and operational supervision, and maintaining a complex caseload of children aged 0-19 with a range of conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational management of the paediatric occupational therapy team, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Manage a complex caseload of children with varied and complex needs, including cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorders, and learning difficulties.
  • Lead projects on service transformation, development, and audit, contributing to the improvement of our services.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise occupational therapy team members, promoting their professional development.
  • Work in partnership with mainstream and special school settings to provide staff consultation and training.
Requirements
  • BSc Hons or recognised degree equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Healthcare Professions Council registration.
  • 5 years postgraduate experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in paediatrics.
  • Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Able to deliver training and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
What We Offer

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, plus 5% HCAS, pro rata. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including an NHS pension and flexible retirement options.
