We are seeking a skilled Academic Attendance Specialist to join our team at Outwood Academy City Fields. This role is a temporary position until August 2026, and the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies, improve attendance levels, and reduce persistent absence in line with Academy targets. They will work closely with Education Welfare Officers and our Senior Leadership Team to ensure school compliance and act as a liaison between various agencies and the academy.

This role requires strong IT skills specifically in Microsoft Office and Google. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies.
  2. Improving attendance levels and reducing persistent absence in line with Academy targets.
  3. Working closely with Education Welfare Officers and Senior Leadership Team.
  4. Ensuring school compliance and acting as a liaison between various agencies and the academy.
