We are seeking a dedicated Graduate to work in a Special School in Wakefield, supporting pupils with Severe Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
Job OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to develop their career in education, working closely with a strong leadership team to prepare pupils for a positive future.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with SEMH needs in a dynamic and inspirational learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils make good progress and achieve their full potential.
- Participate in Team Teach training and apply strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Experience working in a similar setting or with SEMH pupils.
- Team Teach qualification or willingness to attend a course.
- A degree in any subject and a passion for education.
- Two professional references and an enhanced DBS check.
Competitive salary (£20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience) and opportunities for professional development.
