GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Spilsby. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to the teacher to inform instruction.
- Previous experience as a Support Assistant with SEN is essential, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping children succeed, with a strong focus on meeting individual needs.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
