About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Spilsby. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential and thrive in their learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement tailored learning plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development among students.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the safety, happiness, and progress of pupils.
  • Assist with daily classroom activities and behaviour management, providing a stable and supportive presence for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ are desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with various needs, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing the needs of students and contributing to a positive school culture.
