Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and primary school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with students, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each child, particularly those with SEN.
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide additional support as needed.
  • Work closely with students who have SEN, ensuring their safety and engagement with the curriculum.
  • Offer feedback and guidance to students under the teacher's direction, promoting academic and social progress.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs or equivalent are essential.
  • A-levels, Degree, or Master's degree are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with children, whether in or outside of a school setting, or with vulnerable adults.
  • This role is also suitable for university students currently studying for a degree in a related field.
  • Experience in care or nursing is an advantage but not required.
