Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Caravan Park Electrical. As a fully qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for undertaking periodic testing & inspection plus electrical installation development works within the Leisure, Holiday Park, Marina, and LV distribution sectors of the Electrical Contracting Industry.

You will possess practical, productive, and electrical engineering skills with adequate technical knowledge to work on your own proficiently and carry out electrical installation work without immediate supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in caravan parks, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. This is a permanent position working nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition the necessary installation materials.
  • Accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and, if required, supervise other operatives.
  • Work away from home and undertake weekend working during busy periods.
  • Log your activity and test sheets using an iPad, which will be provided along with full training.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 test and inspection or equivalent.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the current IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations as detailed in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671, published by the IET and the British Standards Institute.
  • Experience in Underground LV Cable Networks, Commercial Switch Panel Installations, Switch panel modifications and fabrication, Street Lighting and General External Lighting, Fault Finding and rectification, and Test & Inspection in accordance with BS7671:2018.
