About the Role: Gap Technical Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team at a national manufacturing company's facility in Liverpool.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Service and maintain all on-site machinery, with a focus on reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance systems
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues efficiently
  • Analyse operational problems and provide technical support and training to colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety practices, food hygiene regulations, and product quality control measures
  • Communicate and present data effectively to stakeholders


Requirements:



  • Proven experience as an Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineer
  • Familiarity with Siemens (S7) Allen Bradley PLC programming and fault finding
  • Knowledge of refrigeration equipment, boiler operation, and control, as well as Fanuc robotics
  • Past experience working in a fast-paced food production environment
  • Strong leadership, planning, and prioritisation skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
