Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the building fabric, fixtures, and fittings, including joinery, door furniture, and roofing systems.
- Carrying out repairs, renovations, and replacements as required.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and initiate corrective action.
- Liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
- Participating in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and schemes.
- Monitoring work carried out by service partners and ensuring compliance with current health and safety regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and maintenance operations.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, developing work permits, and implementing procedures for facility maintenance activities.
- An excellent working knowledge of current health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and service providers.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
