Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced maintenance specialist to join our team at Hays Engineering. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to machine and system failures, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Manage site spares and ensure availability of critical items, optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a technical or engineering discipline (HNC/NVQ or similar).
  • A minimum of three years' maintenance experience in a relevant industry, with a strong understanding of maintenance processes and management systems.
  • Experience with ATEX equipment and hazardous plants is preferred but not essential.

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
