Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at identifi Global Resources. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid setup with occasional visits to our Northamptonshire office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of network applications written in C#. Key responsibilities include creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope, design, write, and deploy manual & automated tests to confirm feature functionality, security, performance, and reliability of software.
  • Execute test plans to ensure features meet customer and company needs.
  • Write and fill test reports presenting performance and risks.
  • Recommend 3rd party tools to test functionality of developed software.
  • Liaise with cross-department teams to deliver quality products.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience in defining test environment and planning tests.
  • Experience in writing and designing manual & automation tests and testing.
  • Developing test cases and writing scripts.
  • Ability to communicate discovered product issues with wider team.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycle.
  • History of creating test-plans and test-suites for automation.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guide improvements in code quality and testing practices.

Salary and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of £42,500 - £47,500 per annum, depending on experience.
