Corporate Tax Strategy Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Strategy Lead to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Tax team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims.
- Identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with our specialist capital allowances team to provide comprehensive tax advisory services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including CEOs, finance directors, and technical directors.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and provide expert guidance to clients.
- Proven experience in the R&D tax relief services or industry equivalent.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications, such as CTA and ACA, or a degree in science or technology.
