Corporate Tax Strategy Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Strategy Lead to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Tax team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims.
- Identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with our specialist capital allowances team to provide R&D Allowances (RDAs) services.
- Work closely with our regional teams to provide grants, patent box, and international R&D relief services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including CEOs, finance directors, and technical directors.
- Experience in leading and managing R&D tax relief claims for companies of all sizes.
- Strong technical and financial skills, with the ability to identify R&D projects and expenditure.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with senior managers, directors, and partners.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in science or technology, or a business degree with a focus on tax.
