An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Simulation and Modelling Future Systems group at MBDA, working on fast-moving and challenging projects.

Job Title: Simulation and Modelling Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing component models using Matlab and Simulink
  • Integrating models/components that are external to the team and/or company
  • Developing a modelling framework/environment to be leveraged by many projects across the business
  • Performing technical analyses and investigations into a full range of issues and problems
  • Preparing and developing solutions either individually or as part of a team
  • Engaging with model users, understanding and responding to their needs
  • Participating in peer review of work across the team

Requirements:

  • Programming experience or an eagerness to learn
  • Forward thinking, planning, and critical thinking
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Curious and adaptable
