As a leading education recruitment agency, Step Teachers is committed to finding talented professionals like you to join our team. We're seeking a skilled Graduate Learning Support Role to work with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in the Brent area.

About the Job:

In this role, you'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities and provide personalized support to students. You'll help identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students, helping them develop language and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, updating them on their child's progress and offering advice on how to support them at home.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as an SEND Teaching Assistant, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a salary of £19,000-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, CPD opportunities, and access to our job portal.
