Primary School Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant in Southwark. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students in their learning and development, while working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored interventions.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to start their career in education. You will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a supportive team environment, while gaining invaluable classroom experience ahead of your teacher training.

Requirements:
  • A graduate with a 2:1 or higher from a top UK university
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about working with children
  • Previous experience with SEN or young learners (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, in a busy school environment

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn £85-£95 per day, paid weekly via PAYE. This is a long-term role starting immediately and running through to July 2024.
