Job Overview

This role involves supporting the DK Contracts team in managing flat fee agreements, processing contracts, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy working collaboratively, and be eager to develop their career in the publishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and check flat fee agreements and addenda, with potential involvement in head contracts under supervision.
  • Address queries from Editorial and Royalties teams, with potential responsibility for handling author and agent inquiries as a first point of contact.
  • Process signed contracts, ensuring timely returns to authors/agents, and maintain contracts and correspondence files.
  • Keep databases and records up-to-date.
  • Assist with projects, such as researching audio rights held by DK.
  • Attend departmental meetings, regular catch-ups, and progress meetings with line managers.
  • Provide miscellaneous support as required.

Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £27,500 per annum, plus benefits including financial assistance, wellbeing support, and lifestyle perks.

Hybrid Working

The role requires working from our London office three days a week, providing flexibility around where you work while connecting with colleagues.
