Job Title: Area Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales and operational excellence within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of General Managers to achieve sales and operational targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and operational performance, ensuring consistency and excellence across the area.
- Collaborate with General Managers to identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Manage financial controls and work closely with General Managers to achieve maximum operational profitability.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance across all gyms in the area.
- Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and mentoring to General Managers and other staff members.
- Manage staff selection, appraisal, and discipline processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective management of health and safety aspects, policies, and procedures.
- Regularly report sales and operational performance to Head of Operations and Regional Business Manager, providing detailed multi-level reports.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales and operations management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and present insights to inform business decisions.
- Strong business acumen, with a focus on driving sales and operational excellence.
