Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our sales and operations efforts in the Yorkshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations and sales activity within the area, ensuring consistency and excellence in service levels.
- Collaborate with General Managers to drive sales and operational performance, and develop processes to support growth.
- Manage controls and procedures to maintain and monitor standards and performance, in line with benchmarks.
- Oversee the quality and standards of cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance of all areas of the gyms within the area.
- Line manage and develop the skills of General Managers and other staff, providing inspirational leadership, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Manage financial controls and work with General Managers to achieve maximum operational profitability.
- Report to Head of Operations on sales and operational performance, issues, and improvements.
- Identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and positive change, and present key data to support new ideas and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and operations management, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and present key findings to support business decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
