About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the hygiene standards and housekeeping of a busy automotive production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and direction to two facility operatives, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and consistently
  • Collaborate with the facility engineering team to address technical repairs and maintenance issues, ensuring a cohesive approach to facility management
  • Manage on-site waste, including wood, cardboard, and waste metals, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to environmental regulations
  • Manage direct report leave requests and training requirements
  • Work alongside the team and get involved with the organisation and cleaning tasks

Requirements

  • Competent computer skills
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a facilities, industrial or similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • Completed relevant managerial Health and Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
