Site Operations Manager

The purpose of this role is to take accountability as a Site Manager for the running and successful handover of projects to clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the smooth operation of the site and adherence to policies and procedures at all times.
- Manage key time, cost, quality, and safety risks to successful project delivery.
- Assist the Agent/Project Manager to maintain as-built records for programme updates.
- Collaborate with statutory utility companies regarding diversion and location of existing mains and/or installation of new mains.
- Understand and implement method statements and risk assessments produced and issued for the works.
- Ensure the workforce understands and adheres to method statements and risk assessments issued.
- Assist the Agent/Project Manager in conducting site inductions and toolbox talks for all operatives, highlighting company and site rules and site-specific safety hazards, including checking operative's safety certificates.
- Be responsible for securing offices, containers, and site boundaries at the end of every shift.
- Monitor subcontractor's quality, programme, and safety performance on a regular basis and advise the Agent/Project Manager of any non-compliance.
- Manage workmanship and quality of work by direct labour and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
- CSCS competency card.
- SMSTS.
- WAMITAB - other equivalent waste qualification.
- At least 5 years' experience working within the waste industry.
- Good level of IT use and budget management.
