Site Operations Manager

About the Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the site, including operating mobile plant, achieving high recycling and recovery rates, and providing excellent customer service to the local authority client and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will oversee the site's operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve recycling and recovery rates, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve site goals and objectives, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, with a strong background in waste management and recycling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
