Site Operations Manager

About the Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the site, including operating mobile plant, achieving high recycling and recovery rates, and providing excellent customer service to the local authority client and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will oversee the site's daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve recycling and recovery rates, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including the local authority client and the general public.
- Manage and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
