The Continuous Improvement Specialist will drive operational excellence through strategic initiatives and deployments, leveraging lean implementation strategies to lead the organization towards transformation. This role involves planning, organizing, and implementing established continuous improvement methods, practices, and tools to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness within EMEA Healthcare. The incumbent will adopt a hands-on, collaborative approach to build support for change and transformation while leading, training, developing, motivating, and coaching the team in the development of a lean culture.

This role requires travel between sites in Birmingham and other allocated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive lean transformation and change initiatives to establish visually managed processes for waste recognition across all areas.
  • Facilitate and conduct lean training programs, Kaizen events, and other lean initiatives.
  • Serve as a change facilitator, develop and collaborate with site/area lean champions and/or business leaders, and influence site leadership in the transformation to and in support of a continuous improvement culture.
  • Develop and manage multiple processes, long-term, sustainable, lean-related visual action plans, and assigned key projects.
  • Monitor existing and new processes for improvement opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through lean problem-solving methodology and take appropriate follow-up action.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, schedules, and financial reports regarding the impact of sustaining CI/lean improvements, waste reduction, and ROI, as indicated by lean accounting principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Continuous Improvement/Health-related Science or 8+ years of demonstrated, qualified lean experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience working within a matrix environment reporting to Lean organization and taking local direction from Site Director.
Salary Estimate:

We estimate the salary range for this position to be approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
