Retail Operations Implementation Coordinator

The Retail Operations Implementation Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operational readiness across all retail propositions, processes, and policy changes. Reporting to the Senior Retail Change & Communications Manager, this individual is responsible for developing and executing implementation plans that align with the operational scope of change for each proposition, policy, or process change across retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver implementation plans that align with operational size of change for each proposition, policy, or process change across retail.
  • Accountable for the annual workload and implementation plan across retail, encompassing all strategic change, commercial propositions, and priorities, and delivered within the workload budget.
  • Responsible for version control of all retail operational processes, ensuring accuracy and delivery through implementation tools available (. One Way, Our Job, Retail Basics), as well as identifying and introducing digital solutions where appropriate.
  • Monitor compliance and performance during the implementation/hyper care period for all operational change, providing clarity to both field and store teams.
  • Support the infrastructure for 100+ commercial and marketing launches each financial year, through documentation formatted in line with the selling model, ensuring right-first-time implementation.
  • Ensure all policy and processes support clarity for colleagues and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and delivery of digital tools to support the selling model, ensuring alignment with seasonality, the commercial plan, and supporting colleague conversations with customers.
  • Ensure visibility of the implementation plan for all proposition, process, and policy changes, including progress and status updates for key stakeholders both centrally and in the field.

Requirements

This role requires an operations professional with experience working across retail, ideally in a leadership role in stores or a supporting role. The individual should be able to evidence a strong understanding of the tools required to launch, measure, and maintain implementation across a multi-site business. Experience in using communications and reporting tools is also desirable.

Working Arrangements

This role may involve hybrid working, a mix of working from our Redditch Support Centre and from home, dependent on the needs of the business.
