Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Highland Council. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early learning and childcare services. Your key responsibilities will include creating a safe and engaging environment for young children, facilitating their development, and collaborating with parents and caregivers.

Qualifications and Registration
A recognised qualification in Childcare and Education is necessary for this position. Unqualified applicants must pursue one of these awards within a designated timeframe and will be paid according to grade HC0435. A relevant SSSC registration is also required. Although qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid are beneficial, they are not obligatory.

Remuneration and Benefits
The salary for this Early Years Practitioner role ranges from £12,539 to £13,735 for unqualified applicants or £13,928 to £15,253 for qualified individuals.
