About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team in Baker Street. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing the firm's professional qualifications policies, ensuring compliance and driving excellence in our services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in professional qualifications, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. They will also be able to build strong relationships with external bodies, including the ICAEW and CIOT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the firm's professional qualifications policies, ensuring compliance and driving excellence in our services.
  • Develop and deliver internal training and induction programmes for EIC students.
  • Represent the firm on various external groups, including the ICAEW and CIOT.
  • Work with HR and the business to develop our programme of on-going care, coaching and advice to our early in career (EIC) students.
  • Provide guidance on exam results and recommendations, working closely with the HR team.
  • Liaise with external training providers on courses and syllabus developments.
  • Assess the impact of syllabus changes on our professional qualifications strategy and communicate the findings to our partners and staff.
  • Manage and develop the professional qualifications team, including performance management of two direct reports.
  • Ensure the firm's professional qualifications policies are driven by business needs and sound commercial principles.
