About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Hastings Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance services associated with heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain all mechanical equipment in conjunction with our planned maintenance system
  • Monitor and repair boiler house plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Responsible for chemical treatment of cold water storage, heating, and chilled water services
  • Maintain accurate written records of maintenance and repairs
  • Perform minor metal fabrication work as required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained, complying with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies
Requirements
  • Approved plumbing experience gained within commercial buildings
  • GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Good communication, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Smart, well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
