Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of the Depot Transport operation to ensure deliveries are made On Time, In Full (OTIF).
- Control department costs within agreed budgets and flex accordingly based on volume, W.T.D. hours, or customer requirements.
- Manage and produce Operational KPIs in relation to the Transport department.
- Proactively drive the transport department forward by strategically planning for the future, utilizing experience of the wider market and developments in transport technology.
- Influence the way the transport department operates and improve areas such as fuel costs, maintenance spend, agency costs, etc.
As a Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the busy Transport operation, with a fleet size of approximately 80 units and 100 drivers. The site operates on a multi-drop basis, and you will be reporting into the General Manager with four directs.
