Strive Supply Chain LLP is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of their busy Transport operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are made On Time, In Full (OTIF) and will manage a team of four directs. The Transport operation has a fleet size of approximately 80 units and 100 drivers, operating on a multi-drop basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage all aspects of the Depot Transport operation to ensure OTIF deliveries.
  2. Develop and implement Operational KPIs for the Transport department.
  3. Drive the Transport department forward by strategically planning for the future, utilizing experience of the wider market and developments in transport technology.
  4. Improve fuel costs, maintenance spend, and agency costs within the Transport department.
  5. Ensure the Transport department is compliant with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.
Requirements:
  1. Significant transport experience within a multi-drop, FMCG environment.
