We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at beBee Professionals in Dunstable, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adhering to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Load and unload goods, handling items with care and attention to detail.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to company standards.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues, providing exceptional customer service.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with a strong focus on building relationships.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
