We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Support Lead to join our team at Lawrence View Primary and Nursery School in Eastwood.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately £28,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and opportunities for continued professional development and training.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding practices, and mental health support. As Educational Support Lead, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working one-to-one and in small groups to deliver tailored support to pupils
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Providing advice and guidance to parents and carers on how to support their child's learning and well-being
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and attendance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or a related field
- Experience working with children in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices, mental health support, and Forest Schools provision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
