This is an exceptional opportunity for a Chartered professional or someone qualified to work towards Chartered status with significant experience in construction commercial and contract industries to transition into a senior teaching role.

The role offers the chance to teach and mentor motivated students at a unique and highly professional training facility in Kent. As a Contract Management Senior Lecturer, you will provide subject expertise within a small multidisciplinary teaching team with a focus on enhancing teaching delivery, reflecting current state-of-the-art and emerging engineering practices.

The Contract Management Senior Lecturer will demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience to deliver construction commercial and contract content that is relevant to studies from the concept stage of a project to the final sign-off at the end of any project. This will encompass the contractual and commercial complexities of Building, M&E, and Civil Engineering inputs needed, and cover all levels of student academic achievement from Level 3 (trades courses) to Level 7 (master's degrees).

Key requirements include:

  • MSc or equivalent working experience or teaching delivery in Contract Management
  • Minimum level 5 teaching qualification, or commitment to achieve this qualification within two years of commencement
