Key Responsibilities
As a Low Carbon Energy Specialist, your main responsibilities will include advising on data treatment, verification, and entry for Enrichment Operations and Safeguards systems. This involves deputizing for the Uranium Accountancy Manager during audits and leading inspections of classified technology. Additional tasks include planning annual physical inventory, developing procedures, and coordinating contract staff for International Atomic Energy Agency and ONR inspectors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a HNC or equivalent in a mathematical related discipline and/or accountancy principles. You must also have proficiency in SAP, Excel, and other relevant software, with a strong understanding of plant operations and Safeguards processes. Exceptional attention to detail and excellent planning skills are also required.
