About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to enhance learning opportunities and provide support to children aged 3-5. This will involve assisting with lesson planning, implementing activities, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons for children aged 3-5
- Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs
- Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Qualifications in supporting teaching and learning in schools (or equivalent)
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience working with children aged 3-5 (paid or voluntary)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting children from harm
