Job Title: Early Years Education Specialist

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is a specialist recruiter for the education and skills sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as an Early Years Education Specialist.

Location: Home/field-based, flexible with travel across Portsmouth and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £33,500 depending on qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager who would like to transition into a new and rewarding career in the training industry to support apprentices. Key responsibilities include delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5, managing a caseload of learners, and conducting remote and face-to-face observations.

Essential Criteria:

  1. At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Nursery Manager
  2. Experience of working with 0-3 years in a Nursery setting and with children aged 5 or above as a Childminder or Teaching Assistant
  3. Hold a Level 5 qualification in Early Years Childcare
  4. Hold a minimum of a Level 2 English and Maths/GCSE equivalents
  5. Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Duties:

  1. Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5
  2. Managing a caseload of learners
  3. Conducting remote and face-to-face observations
  4. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions
  5. Supporting learners through the End Point Assessment Process
  6. Organising and maintaining documentation on learners' progress
  7. Supporting, advising, and motivating learners
  8. Overcoming barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learners' needs
